Since establishing his studio in 1979, Dressler has won numerous local and regional "ADDY" awards, local "In-Show" awards, as well as an "Andy" award from the New York Art Directors Club in 1988.

Dressler received his bachelor of Media Arts from the University of South Carolina in May, 1979. Since graduating, he has been a freelance commercial photographer residing in the Columbia area.

Dressler has been a member of the American Society of Media Photographers since 1984, and a member of the Association of Independent Architectural Photographers. He is also a professional affiliate member of the South Carolina AIA.
